Like many modern love stories, ours began on Bumble — where Liz made the first move (naturally). What started as a simple swipe quickly turned into something special. Our first date was in early June of 2022 at Delta Beer Lab — a bold choice since neither of us had been there before. We took a chance on a new place and, as it turns out, on each other. From the moment we met, conversation flowed effortlessly, laughter came easily, and it felt like we’d known each other far longer than just a few hours. By the end of the night, Liz knew she wanted to see Alex again… and it didn’t take long before Alex felt the same. In those early months, we spent our time doing what we love most — sharing new experiences and finding joy in the simple things. From a Rod Tuff Curls concert and brewery hopping to touring UW–Madison’s campus and dinner at Doty’s (IYKYK), every moment together felt easy and right. What began as a few fun dates quickly grew into a relationship built on laughter, adventure, and unwavering support. Liz loves how grounding and always up for an adventure Alex is. Alex loves Liz’s ability to make him laugh and give the best hugs. Over time, we became each other’s favorite person — the one to celebrate with, lean on, and call home. Now, we can’t imagine life without each other and are so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all our favorite people.
