What time should I arrive? -> EARLY

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 4 PM. We recommend that you are parked and comfortable in your seat BY 3:45 PM. The venue will be ready and open if you’d like to get seated by 3:30pm. The door for guest entrance will be closed by 3:58 PM to avoid any disruptions during the ceremony. Thank you for understanding.

Are the ceremony and reception at different venues?

Answer

Nope, everything will be at the Blue Goose Event Center: ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception!

What’s the dress code?

We please ask there are no jeans or shorts. Otherwise be comfortable and yourself!

Can I bring my kids or a date?

Answer

The invites will clearly list the names of those invited, and the RSVP will align with those specific names. Children and plus ones who are invited will be listed on the invite and RSVP. Thanks for understanding. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any questions or special circumstances😃

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is a huge parking lot directly next to the venue with tons of space. All events are taking place at the same venue and you will only need to park once!

What does the timeline look like?

Answer

We will be having a short and sweet ceremony followed by a cocktail hour. The bride, groom and immediate family members will be offsite during the cocktail hours for photos. Please enjoy the music, drinks, and snacks as you patiently await their return. The cocktail hour will be followed with a reception full of fun, love and laughter that you will never forget! We plan to dance the night away!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes with one stipulation, please silence your phones and keep them put away during our ceremony, save the posting until cocktail hour and onwards to respect our special ceremony! We have photographers to take pictures during this time. Otherwise, we totally encourage guests to post pictures to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SweptUpBySchwartz2023 so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, it is attached on our website under “Registry.” We are kindly only asking for contributions to certain items or experiences as we honeymoon and come home to continue building our new space together!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Although we don’t know the weather yet, we are hoping for a beautiful spring day! Regardless of the weather, all events will be taking place indoors (heat/air equipped). There is also a beautiful porch on the front side of the venue for great photo ops, views of Loomis, and fresh air!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, in our own way! We will have specially chosen kegs and standard beer/seltzers available!
