Although we both met (circa. 2008) while attending the University of Tennessee, we didn't start dating until three years later. Right before we began dating, Victoria was accepted into the University of Montana, and Alex was offered a position in Oak Ridge. The 2092 mile distance did not keep us apart. We visited each other as much as possible. After graduation Victoria took a year off and moved back to Knoxville to begin the application process for her doctorate. Victoria was accepted to the University of Nevada, Reno, and we began our long distance journey again. Since then we have traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe. On our 2016 European trip, Alex proposed to Victoria at the Polish archaeological field school where she works. Victoria has finished her course work and since moved back to Knoxville to write her dissertation. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
