We both found our way to Charlotte, Amanda from Dallas in 2020, and Drew from Long Island in 2022, and matched on Bumble in January 2024. We quickly bonded over our love/hate of underdog sports teams, witty humor, and the fact that we never run out of things to talk about. Our first date turned into a six-hour marathon of NFL playoff games (where one of those “bad” teams actually won), darts, and nonstop conversation. In December 2025, we took a trip to the Blue Ridge mountains, where Drew had planned a very intimate proposal at a private glamping site. He hired a photographer (with a very convincing cover story), and a few minutes into the “photoshoot,” he got down on one knee and asked Amanda to marry him! We feel incredibly lucky to have found each other, and even luckier to be surrounded by such amazing family and friends. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you. See y’all in Texas!
