Breanna & Brittany are sisters only 2 years apart. Growing up, they fought like cats and dogs, but the saying is true, absence makes the heart grow fonder and as soon as they went off to college, they became best friends. Now they both live in GR and have never been closer!
Amira

In 2015 Amira and Brittany both worked at the GM plant in Romulus and lived in Royal Oak. They ended up being forced to hang out one night when they were volunteered to deliver Christmas presents in Detroit for Adopt a Family. The two instantly hit it off over their love of travel and the excessive amount of weddings attended. Although they live apart now, they still always make time for each other.
Ashleigh

Ashleigh and Brittany met their freshman year at GVSU in 2010. Both were fairly shy in their sorority and had a lot in common. One day they attended a hockey game together and were instant friends. They became closer after rooming together in 2013 and serving on their sorority executive board. Ashleigh has been one of the most loyal and thoughtful friends and is by far the oldest with over a decade of memories!
Cassie
Bridesmaid
Cassie and Brittany started their friendship in 2011 when Brittany was Cassie's Resident Assistant (RA) in the dorms at GVSU. Although they only lived close for a year, the two continued to travel across the state to see each other regularly. In 2013 Brittany and Andy introduced Cassie to her now-husband Chase (groomsmen) and now the two couples both live close in the Grand Rapids area together.
Chloe

In 2017 Chloe and Brittany were on the same HR team at GM. After sitting next to each other at work for months, Chloe asked Brittany on their first happy hour date and they officially became friends. While living in metro-Detroit, they hung out on the weekends, joined a Euchre league, and spent countless days helping each other survive the crazy HR world. Even after they moved apart, they still talk weekly, and Brittany would not have survived in HR without Chloe.
Katie

In 2011 Katie decided to go through sorority recruitment at GVSU and Brittany was her recruitment guide. Katie didn't know it, but she ended up choosing Brittany's sorority and the two became best friends. They spent almost every day together: lunch dates on campus, parties, studying, and mostly being weird. College wouldn't have been the same without Katie.
Krissy
Bridesmaid
Krissy is Andy’s only sibling and they’ve been close ever since the beginning. Way back when andy used to play Krissy’s games like kitchen or being a security guard for her imaginary concert on the trampoline. And she used to play his games like getting shot in the eye with a nurf gun dart. Though the games have changed, Andy, Krissy, and now brittany, love spending time with each other and do so as often as they can… with less injuries.
Shruti
Bridesmaid
Shruti and Brittany met randomly at a wine tasting in 2016. Brittany and her other friend Amira decided to attend a wine and chocolate event in their town Royal Oak. Shruti was one of the volunteers pouring overly generous samples and forgetting to charge tickets. Needless to say, she was the favorite tasting booth and the two kept going back. The rest is history!
Lincoln

The first of the Garza great grandchildren; Lincoln is the son of Brittany’s close cousin Maria & her husband Andy. He’s full of energy and smiles and will definitely be the cutest guy there. At wedding time Lincoln will be almost 2 and a half years old!
Violet
Flower Girl
In 2013 Brittany introduced her friend Cassie to Andy’s friend Chase. The two hit it off instantly and 7 years later along came Violet! At the time of the wedding violet will be a year and half!
James
Best Man
James is Andy’s best man and best friend ever since they pledged Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity in the Winter of 2009. James and Andy have had many fun memories throughout the years, including video game weekend, golf weekends, ice fishing trips, hunting and doing snow tricks in Andy’s suburban in the GVSU parking lot. Although, their best memory was spending 10 days celebrating the 4th of July. Oddly enough they don’t remember much.
Calvin

Calvin and Andy met when Andy and Brittany moved to Grand Rapids and joined a volleyball league; Calvin was a random add in. Since then they enjoy golfing, biking, fishing, disc golfing and spending time with each other. They especially like to hang out in the summer in Calvin’s “residents only” pool with a cold beer after beach volleyball games.
Chase

Chase and Andy met at GVSU in the fraternity and were roommates together for several years. They they ate together, golfed together and had many fun nights making memories. Andy and Chase enjoy hanging out together, playing golf, and enjoying craft beers at lots of local breweries. But the best time is watching any U of M game with Chase. Literally, any single game.
Obar

Kevin Obarzanek (Obar) is one of Andy’s very close friends that he met in the fraternity at GVSU but their friendship really blossomed once Andy and Brittany moved to Royal Oak. Obar and Andy would go fishing together every free weekend they could and always find time to get together. One of their best memories was recently when the two had a blast hanging out and sightseeing in Charleston for Tuscany’s wedding.
Tuscany

Michael Tuscany (Tusc) and Andy met in college, in the fraternity, and quickly became very close friends, bonding over summer breaks spent together, smoking hookah, and Andy crashing on Tuscany’s couch for 3 weeks in between leases during college. They spent their college years, partying, finding new music, new friends, and making great memories. They lived close by for awhile in Royal Oak but after they both moved away, they’ve maintained a close friendship.
Tyler
Groomsman
Tyler was one of the first people Andy met in college on the very first day and he is still a close friend now. Their favorite memories are their ice fishing trips and going to the casino, but now that Tyler lives in Arizona, they’ve had to switch to the pools and casinos… in Vegas. Some things never change. They’ll never forget the time winning at club Keno in Gladwin, followed by winning at Soaring Eagle Casino, followed by losing at Micelli’s Corner.
