Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm. We advise you to arrive 15-30 minutes early!
We are so excited to get dressed up with all of you! Summer formal attire embraces vibrant color and elevated style. Guests are encouraged to wear bold and joyful hues and patterns that reflect the energy of the season! Ladies, please wear mid to long length dresses, pantsuits, or other formal appropriate attire. Gentlemen, please wear a summer appropriate suit. We kindly ask you to avoid jeans, flip flops, tank tops, and t-shirts (and of course, the color white). Ladies opting to wear heals- please note that our ceremony will be on grass and dinner will be on pine straw by the water. Please choose your footwear appropriately to be comfortable and fashionable!
Yes! There is parking along the street where the house is located. For our guests, we are also providing a golf cart shuttle to avoid any longer walks to the ceremony. If possible, we recommend carpooling or opting for a ride using Lyft or Uber (especially if you plan on having multiple drinks with us!).
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girls and ring bearers.
Due to our limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Our wedding will be entirely outdoors under the mossy oaks and the stars! There is an ample amount of shade at The Codell Home as well as a breeze off of the water. If you are cold natured (I'm looking at you Mamma) it may be wise to bring a shawl for after the sun sets for the evening.
We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!
