Welcome to our forever

Kaleb and Elizabeth first laid eyes on each other in Fall 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma during Elizabeth's volleyball tournament for the University of Central Arkansas. Kaleb had tagged along with his friend, who was the video producer for UCA that season. After the game, Elizabeth was interviewed and Kaleb was assisting with camera duties. On the ride back to Arkansas, Elizabeth had a teammate get Kaleb's name, which led to him asking for Elizabeth's phone number. And that's how their love began.

In a very elaborate scheme to surprise Elizabeth the best he could, Kaleb had his cousin, Britney asked Elizabeth to take pictures after work on May 28th. Elizabeth agreed and had the idea that she would be taking pictures of her, Kaleb's sister Kaci, and Kaleb! By the end of the work day, Elizabeth headed over to get ready with the girls, while Kaleb told her he was at a work event and would be there as soon as he could. In the meantime, Elizabeth and Kaci took lots of pictures, eventually leading to a small shed in the back of Aunt JJ's house. Britney had the idea to have both of them put their hand on the shed doors and open it on... 1, 2, 3! As Elizabeth turned around, Kaleb was standing with flowers in his hand on a pile of rose petals, in a fully decorated shed. He took her by the hand and got down on one knee, and of course, she said YES! It took the help of many hands, but the two got engaged and Elizabeth was more surprised than she has ever been.

A typical day for Elizabeth & Kaleb starts with Kaleb waking up and going to work at Eagle Electric. Long hours and busy days, but Kaleb loves what he does, which makes it all worth it! For those of you who don't know, Elizabeth is in her first semester of graduate school at the University of Central Arkansas, where she is pursuing her Masters in Speech and Language Pathology. School, tests and wedding planning has been keeping her busy over the last few months! They have two fur animals, Dusty and Nala who keep them busy and active in their time not at work or school! These pups are sure ready to have their humans under one roof forever!!
