Amanda was a single mom who did not have the best of luck in relationships. Dylan married his high school sweetheart, who ended up breaking his heart. During a pandemic, trying to meet new people seemed practically impossible! Until one fateful day when they were both scrolling through Facebook and ran across an ad for Zoosk (a random online dating site). They both created profiles and shortly matched! Dylan was the first man who CALLED instead of just sending messages back and forth. They decided to meet for their first date at his favorite spot, Rocky River Brewery. After eating, drinking, and talking for over 4 hours; Dylan took Amanda to the beach where they sat on a pier and watched the sun set. It was the most perfect date! The two felt as if they had known each other for years and finally found their other half. Meeting Ava (Amanda’s daughter) was a task that went a lot smoother than anyone could have expected. After only a month, Ava referred to Dylan as her dad. (Yes, they all cried the first time she did it.) In December, the three went down to Florida to stay with Amanda’s grandparents for a week. Her parents and brother just happened to be there for a few days as well. Dylan showed everyone the ring and planned "family pictures" after church on Sunday. He then proceeded to catch her completely off guard and proposed! Of course, she said "YES" (More like nodded since she was sobbing), and then he asked Ava if he could be her dad and marry mommy with a beautiful butterfly ring on a chain.
