Alyssa's Perspective: High school sweet hearts run in our families; and it continues with us. Dylan and I met in a careers class in high school. It was a class to help understand the various options after high school, so Dylan took it for an easy class to get a good grade. At first, I was uninterested in Dylan but he kept talking to me and was very persistent about getting to know me. After talking for a few weeks, I opened my locker in between classes to a dozen pink roses and a note that said... "Roses are red Your eyes are Blue Will you be my girlfriend because I really like you," and our love has grown ever since. I couldn't have picked a better partner to do life with & I am forever grateful that we were in the same class in 2011, it was meant to be. Dylan's Perspective: Careers class 2011: I never would've thought that year I’d meet the love of my life. It all started when this beautiful blue eyed, blonde walked in. I had no idea who she was but I was determined to find out. I first started talking to her shortly after that day but she wasnt interested in me because I was a little older. I finally got her to go on a date with me and we went haunted housing. After that, I knew she was more special than anyone I have ever met in my life. I knew that I wanted to ask her out but wasnt sure how. I finally figured it out by saving my lunch money for a week that mom gave me and went and bought some flowers. I asked Alyssa Beavers to be my girlfriend that same day, 10/17/11, a day ill never forget. I’m so glad I starved that whole week becasue if I didn't I don't know if I’d have this beautiful lady beside me now- life couldnt be better.

Dylan's favorite place to go on vacation is Daytona Beach, Florida. He has gone there with his family since he was little and we have gone there together three times now, but this last time was particularly special. Each vacation we have gone to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. You climb 203 steps to the top of the lighthouse where you have a beautiful view of the town and ocean, and this is where Dylan proposed. Daytona Beach will always have a special place in our hearts, and it is a place that we will be able to go forever to remember that special day.
