San Miguel De Allende is a colonial city founded in 1542 that is located about 145 miles northwest of Mexico city. There are two airports that service the town, Del Bajio Airport in Leon (BJX), and Queretaro Airport (QRO). BJX is approximately an hour and fifteen minutes from San Miguel and QRO is about an hour by car. Once at the airport, options for arriving to this magical town either by group transfer ($25-$40 per person each way), private taxi ($75 each way) or renting a car. There are many options for hotels and Airbnb's to stay within walking distance of our venues, which is highly recommended as the town is small and taxi/uber services aren't always reliable.
