In late October 2024, Ben and I took a trip to Japan—his first time, my second. Naturally, I played tour guide. After a wonderful lunch with our friend Eric in Tokyo, the three of us were exploring Shinjuku Garden. The whole time, Ben was acting unusually suspicious—extra attentive to my outfit, wanting to coordinate, and even offering to take pictures (which he never does!). As we searched for the "perfect spot" for a photo, I finally agreed, handing my phone to Eric to snap a picture of us. When I turned back, Ben was on one knee, holding the shiniest ring and saying, "Saha, I have a very important question to ask you." In shock, with tears in my eyes, I even asked, "Is this real?" It took me a moment to process, but as soon as I did, I couldn’t say "YES!" fast enough! Now, we’re beyond excited to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
