As most of you know, my family owns Family Ties Child Center. Funny enough, if it wasn't for Family Ties, our story might have never happened. Our moms became friends years ago, which meant we always knew *of* each other, but never really *knew* each other. For years, we were just background characters in each other's stories. We would hear things like, "Oh yeah, I know him! He went to Family Ties," or "Our moms are friends." We spent so much time orbiting the same circles without ever realizing we'd eventually become each other's person. Then life did what it does best—it took us in different directions. After high school, we barely saw or spoke to each other. But if you know me, you know curiosity tends to get the best of me. So one day, I sent him a completely random text to catch up and get the latest details on his life. What started as innocent curiosity quickly turned into daily conversations, endless laughs, and a realization that maybe God had been writing our story all along. From our first date at the Pink Place, Ms. Steve's, to reintroducing ourselves to each other's families, moving in together, and bringing home our sweet baby Bohdi, every chapter has been better than the last. We've built a life filled with love, laughter, and plenty of stories that probably shouldn't be shared on a wedding website. Looking back, it's funny to think that we spent so many years standing on the sidelines of each other's lives. Looking forward, we can't imagine doing life with anyone else. We truly believe God's timing is perfect. What seemed like a lifetime of almosts, missed chances, and passing connections led us exactly where we were meant to be. And now, surrounded by the people we love most, we're so excited to begin our forever together. Thank you for being part of our story. We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
