Complimentary Events at the Caruso Hotel
- Pizza Class on Friday the 16th at 5.00pm at the pool Grill for a maximum of 8 guests - Pasta Class on Friday the 16th at 11.00am for a maximum of 8 guests - Painting Class on Friday the 16th at 11.00am for a maximum of 8 guests - Limoncello Class on Friday the 16th at 11.00 am for a maximum of 8 guests - Sound & Meditation Class on Friday the 16th at 7.30am at the pool for a maximum of 10 guests - Step up Historic villages (2 hours / 3.3 km) Friday the 16th at 8.30am for a maximum of 6 guests - Every morning, the Caruso has their boat tour at 10.15am from Amalfi for a maximum of 12 people and we have the complimentary shuttle of the hotel at 9.45am to reach Amalfi (shuttle for a maximum of 16 pax) - You can sign up for these activities at the hotel front desk when you arrive. Availability is one a first come first served basis.
Piazza Duomo
The main town square. Grab an espresso or aperitivo on the steps, and visit the 11th-century Duomo di Ravello with its striking Moorish-style bell tower.
Villa Cimbrone
Stroll through the lush, shaded gardens that lead to the legendary Terrazza dell'Infinito (Terrace of Infinity), which sits atop sheer cliffs with sweeping views of the Amalfi Coast. The standard adult entrance fee is €10.00. You do not need to book your tickets in advance; purchase them at the entrance on the day of your visit.
Villa Rufolo
Admire the 13th-century Moorish architecture and spectacular hanging gardens. If you visit during the summer, catch a classical music performance at the renowned Ravello Festival. General admission to Villa Rufolo in Ravello is €8.00 for adults. You can only purchase tickets on-site at the entrance tower, and advance booking is not required.
Shop for Ceramics
Stroll down the boutique-lined Via Roma and browse local artisan shops like Pascal or Cosmolena to pick up handmade, hand-painted ceramic plates and goods
Path of Gods
While staying in the hills, access nearby scenic trails. You can hike from Ravello down to the coastal towns of Atrani or Amalfi. It is 6.5 km (4 mile) cliffside trail taking 2.5 to 4 hours.
Positano
Positano is a breathtaking, vertical cliffside village on Italy's Amalfi Coast that is a 45 minute drive from Ravello and a perfect option for a 4-6 hour day trip to explore another part of the Amalfi Coast located right on the beach.
