We Still Do!

When Braie was 7 years old, she began worshipping at MacArthur Park Church of Christ in San Antonio. Samuel had attending MacArthur Park Church since he was born. It was not long until she & Samuel became friends. Braie was not shy to let others know how cute that Swann boy was! Their friendship grew through Bible Classes, Youth Retreats, witnessing each other's baptisms & many Sundays spent in the pews at church. Their friendship continued through the years as Samuel enlisted in the Army & Braie headed off to college. In 2014, Braie's childhood crush & friend visited her at her college campus. The love they had as friends became deeper & they began dating. Braie & Samuel had a long distance relationship for three years as Braie was competing for the Arkansas Razorbacks & Samuel was stationed at Fort Campbell & then deployed. After Samuel's return from deployment, he flew to San Antonio to ask Brad, Jamie, Jett & Logan if he could ask Braie to marry him. On November 11th, 2016, Samuel rounded up Braie's teammates & friends along with his Army buddy Henry to help him surprise his girl at the foot of the cross on Mt. Sequoyah in Fayetteville Arkansas. Braie & Samuel decided that they wanted to be legally married as soon as possible & had a legal ceremony at the beautiful San Antonio courthouse on Dec. 21st, 2016. Surrounded by immediate family along with the brides best friend Jessica Smith & Samuel's best friends Colten Britt & Jesse Garrison, Braie & Samuel promised each other forever. Their first year of marriage included Samuel moving in with Braie and adopting a sweet, blind pup named Bruno. Braie and Samuel are having a vow ceremony celebrating their continued "I do's" with their friends and family in the fall of 2018! They look forward to being able to speak their vows in front of their friends & family!
