Please ensure that you have a valid ID to present at the gate upon arrival to the Naval Academy. No ID or invalid ID will not give you base access. (Name on your ID must match the name you provided on Zola). The Naval Academy Chapel follows very strict guideline! Be sure to arrive slightly ahead of schedule; guest seating begins at 2:40 and doors will close promptly at 2:50. Please note the time gap following the ceremony and reception. This break allows guests to travel to the inn or their hotel prior to the reception. Reception begins at 5pm, approximately 1.5 hours after the end of the ceremony.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony is being held at the Naval Academy Chapel, followed by our reception at the Governor Calvert House in Downtown Annapolis. Cocktail hour will be held both indoor and outdoor.

Where can we park on wedding day?

Answer

Calvert Street Garage is a short walk to Gate 1 of the Naval Academy. This garage is also a few steps away from the reception venue! This garage is free on weekends and is the perfect spot to park! There is also a first come first serve parking garage on the Naval Academy Yard, a short walk away from the chapel.

We ask all guests to please arrival at the Naval Academy Chapel at 2:25pm. Doors will open promptly at 2:40pm. Please allocate necessary parking time as parking is first come first serve on the Naval Academy Base.

YES! Cocktail hour will begin at 5pm and drinks will be provided throughout the rest of the evening celebration.

How should I get from the chapel to the historic inn?

Answer

The walk from the Chapel to the Governor Calvert House is about .3 miles! Gate 3 is located behind the chapel and will be the best gate to exit by foot to head towards the inn! Guests who park on the Naval Academy yard can exit through Gate 1 or Gate 8 to head to the inn.
