We met at the park for the first time. (Dasha made the introductions) Little did we know that a few months later we’d be head over heels in love. Started out as friends going to Rugby games and playing pool on a week night. Then quickly turned into booking concerts and holidays together! We just enjoyed each other’s company so much that we haven’t spent a day apart since.

I planned a surprise weekend away to Thala Game Reserve and wouldn’t tell her where I was taking her. She begrudgingly packed an irregularly large suitcase, stuffed with everything she may need for a weekend and hauled it into the car. Off we went. As soon as i made the turnoff she knew where we were going. Excitement! I’d booked a luxury chalet just for the two of us, complete with a Fireplace and Victorian bath tub. While she settled in, I made arrangements for a picnic basket to be delivered and set up on the porch. I was incredibly nervous but I lead her outside and got down on one knee. The rest is a blur
