What is the significance of Our Lady?

Answer

Our Lady means quite a bit to us! Our wedding is on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe and she has had a hand in our relationship since the beginning! We were first set-up on the Feast day of St. Juan Diego, we were engaged on the Feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes, and we have had a devotion to the Holy Rosary throughout our whole relationship. Please pray to Our Lady for us!

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire for the wedding is black-tie optional. As our ceremony will take place during a Catholic Mass, we kindly ask guests to dress modestly out of reverence for our Lord. Shawls or wraps for shoulder coverage during Mass are greatly appreciated.

Where can I park?

Answer

There is ample parking at both St. James and The River View. There are two free parking lots at St. James Catholic Church (38.889614, -77.180555 OR 38.889007, -77.179678) as well as free street parking. There is also free, private parking in close proximity to the venue entrance to the The River View.

Are children invited?

Answer

We adore your children, but unfortunately we cannot accommodate them unless specified on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Unless specified by name or by 'guest' on your wedding invitation, we unfortunately cannot accommodate plus-ones.
