Matthew and Sarah met during their School of Biblical Studies with YWAM Montana in 2024. After a few weeks they became closer friends and enjoyed poking fun with each other and just chatting about life. Sarah got Matthew out of his shell pretty quick as she invited him to a little picnic, where he turned out to be the only guy. All the jokes and poking fun has paid off for Matthew as he and Sarah started to go on dates in February 2025. They had a crazy start to their relationship as they both had to figure out all the layers of this new relationship, but they continued to date through SBS and entered into long-distance for 6 months. Matthew was working some seasonal jobs back home, and Sarah started staffing SBS. They can now finally say they are no longer long distance, as the weekend Matthew proposed, he also moved out to Montana! Matthew and Sarah will be engaged for the next 5 months and are so excited for the wedding day to come May 26, 2026! Matthew & Sarah are ready for this journey of growing more unified in the Lord as they enter marriage!
