Can I take pictures at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be "unplugged." We kindly ask that you silence your cell phones & keep them away during the ceremony. We would hate to have an interruption or have professional photos ruined due to cell phone usage. Thank you for understanding!

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a formal event. We want you to be comfortable while looking your best! We kindly ask for the ladies to avoid wearing white as it's reserved for the bride. Also, no shorts, tennis shoes, or jeans please!

What color is the wedding party wearing?

Answer

The bridesmaids will be wearing plum (dark purple) dresses & the groomsmen are wearing gray suits with plum accents.

What's on the menu?

Answer

As ethical vegans, we have decided to provide a vegan dinner menu. We've carefully tasted everything & have chosen delicious Italian dishes with tasty sides. Rest assured, it'll taste great! The only non-vegan offerings will be desserts provided by Patterson Fruit Farm. Also, our entire menu is nut-free due to our (& some guests') allergies.

Is the wedding adults only?

Yes. We are hosting an adults-only ceremony & reception with the exception of our lovely flower girls.

What's the alcohol situation?

Answer

Our reception will include an open bar with limited choices. We want everyone to have a great time. Please keep in mind that, as our guests, you are our responsibility. Please drink responsibly so we can have a safe & smooth evening.

May I take centerpieces, candles, flowers, etc. home as a souvenir?

Answer

No. All decorations were included in our venue contract & are property of Orchard Hills Center.

Can I take photos at the wedding & post pictures on social media?

Answer

We ask that you keep your phones put away during the ceremony, but take as many photos as you'd like at our reception. Post away! Use our wedding hashtag: #happilyeverhorvaths so we can easily find them later!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

For planning purposes, we ask that you do not bring a date unless you have been given a "plus one" on your invitation.

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking is onsite & will be clearly marked. It is free & handicap accessible! Please note: Depending on where you park, you may have to walk on gravel.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

Orchard Hills Center in Chesterland, Ohio. Everything is in one location. Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) & the reception is just a few short steps indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

There will be an indoor cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. Drinks & appetizers will be served. We expect our bridal party photoshoot to take no longer than an hour.
