Our Story

Ari and I met in 2019 at college. My first impression of him was “Wow, he’s cute”. Ari was the resident advisor of my dorm. I remember seeing him for the first time at the beginning of the year res-life meeting. I was so drawn to him, I guess you could call it love at first sight. Fast forward to the second semester, it had taken me months to finally have the courage to talk to him. I had come up with this ridiculous plan to wait till he was on duty to have him open up the storage room for me. But, as crazy as it was to come up with a plan just to meet him, look where it took us. Who would have known that man would be my husband. Weeks went by and we started talking more and more. One of the first memories I have where I thought to myself, "I could picture marrying Ari," was when I watched him play in his worship band. It was so evident that Ari was and is a man of God and seeing that drew me closer and closer to him. Of course, Ari points to a different memory as a turning highlight of our relationship. He recalls the time that I first met his family. I had driven up to Philadelphia with my sister over the summer and got to see Ari’s home life for the first time. Ari noticed how welcoming, loving, and open I was to his background, family, and culture. And because of that, he could easily picture me being a part of it one day. Through 2 years of college, anticipated breaks home, a year-long pandemic, 2 years of distance, new careers, and many moves around the states- we have always been by each other's side. Through our faith and love for each other, we were able to grow despite the distance and challenges we faced. Every time we were together again, it felt as if no time had passed. As Ari always says, “God has a plan for us”. So let’s fast forward to October 2023. I had come to Boston to visit Ari and his family. We spent the week exploring Boston and our old college stomping grounds. As the week came to a close, Ari planned for us to go to ‘The View’ Boston, a 360 observation deck 52 stories high within the heart of Boston. When we reached the very top of the tower, Ari got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was flooded with emotions. The idea of spending forever with Ari is truly what I picture as “happily ever after”. We could not be more thrilled for this next chapter of our life together and are so excited to celebrate our true love with family and friends on June 22, 2025.
