Jennifer and Jordan started dating in the most modern way in 2014, by Jordan “sliding” in her direct messages (DMs). Who would have thought a single message could turn into marriage! Jennifer and Jordan met in 2010 where they both attended Kennedy High School. Unbeknownst to Jordan, Jennifer had huge crush on him all throughout high school. Jordan only knew of Jennifer since he would see her at his games, sitting in the stands. Fast forward to 2014 and Jordan made the first move on Instagram. After their first date at In-N-Out, the rest was history. A few of Jennifer and Jordan’s favorite memories from their 7 years together: endless KBBQ dinner dates, buying their first puppy, Theo, testing their liver’s limits, endless trips to Frostbites, traveling near and as far as Bahamas, adopting their second puppy, Oliver, and to now planning the biggest day of their lives. While Jennifer attended school in Arizona for her Master’s program, Sedona became her and Jordan’s favorite place to visit, making it a meaningful and sentimental location for Jordan to propose. From designing the ring together, to having their fur babies present, and even setting up a 2-hour sunrise photoshoot during the engagement; the proposal was a dream come true for Jennifer. The soon to be Suzuki’s are so excited for you to join in as they say “we do” at the wedding in June of 2022!
From Jordan's Perspective: October 23, 2020, 3:00 AM, Jen, Theo, Oliver, and I took a two and a half hour road trip from Glendale, AZ to Sedona, AZ. I had told Jennifer that we were doing a photoshoot for a mutual friend’s winter portfolio. Little did she know, that I had a little surprise for her in my NorthFace jacket. When we arrived at the location, it was very cold and Jennifer had asked me for my jacket that held the ring. I couldn’t let her know, so I did not respond. Luckily, the hike to the location was only a 5 minute walk so she managed. The photographer asked Jennifer to take a picture with just her and the dogs so I could sneak behind her on one knee. After her photos, she was looking for me and saw that I was behind her. Right away, she knew and completely blacked out. She kept stomping on the ground and yelling, “ I KNEW IT!” She cried in tears and after a short speech, I asked her to marry me. SHE SAID YES! Afterwards, we enjoyed the rest of the time taking photos and went back to California as an engaged couple! It feels wonderful to call her my fiancée and can’t wait to soon call her my WIFE!
