I am married to the most wonderful husband in the world. He is an answered prayer. I remember when I was praying for him to come, I mentioned a list to God. He went above and beyond my expectations. You are an amazing husband and a loving dad to our children. You've always been there for us. You work long, hours just to provide for us. Aijka is our first born and she is our fist miracle child. We were told that we wouldn't be able have children - well, the Lord cancel that diagnosis. Today, Aijka is 1 of 4 miracles sent to us by the Lord. She is a precious gift and a reminder that with God all things are possible. Baby girl, as you pursue your career & future goals remember the same God that opened up our womb is the same God who will accompany you on your journey. There's one condition: Keep your eyes on Christ - He is the key to your success. We couldn't be more proud of your accomplishments so far. Richie is our first born son and we couldn't be more proud of him. He made his appearance during the worst time in America: September 11. Right after the attack, a week later I discovered I was pregnant. Just the mention of a pregnancy at that time was good news. When it was time for my husband to choose a name for him none was more fitting then Richardson Emmanuel Simon . In our Bible, Emmanuel is Good News - God is with us. My son, as you pursue your dreams, remember to keep your eyes on Christ. God is with you. The road may get tough along the way but don't give up. Stay true to the task at hand. Success will surely be worth it all. We crown you with love, our son. We declare it - In Jesus Name.

Jason is our 3rd child. He is our pride and joy. He keeps everyone connected and we couldn't be more proud him. Dream BIG on and remember the sky is the limit. In the book of Paul, Timothy was advised to keep his head up and not let anyone minimize his gifts and talents because of his age. Inomise passed away on November 16, 1968. My husband was only 4 years old at that time. Every one who knew her expressed great sadness of her premature death. I fell in love with one of the 4 children that she left behind. Today, she would have been proud to have sons like Jackson, Maxo, and Wisler and a daughter, Josette. I never had the opportunity to meet you but your children's kindness is symbolic to the kind of women who bore them. This beautiful vase above is to honor your memory and to once again wish you are resting in peace.
Renalia Simon
Mother of the Groom
Renalia was my husband's adoptive mom. She went home to be with the Lord on July 9th, 2011. She was 99 years old. She was married to his father and she loved him & his siblings. She used to love the way I speak with a stutter. She was known by all as the Good Samaritan Woman. In Haiti, she used to cook big pots of food to feed the merchants as they pass by to go to the market. She had a heart of gold. She embraced me from day one and I will never forget her kindness and generosity. The day of our wedding back in 1996, she looked like a queen. As my father handed me over to Jackson, she shouted to Jackson, "Take good care of her - She's too beautiful" - As she is resting in peace, we know that she will be with us in spirit.

Josette is a mom to the entire family. She is Jackson's big sister and she has embraced me wholeheartedly into the Simon family. She is a nurse, a missionary with a passion to serve. She is loving, compassionate, and kind. She's one of the best cook I have ever met. She has a heart of gold. Our family is blessed to have her represent the mother of the Simon family.

Mr & Mrs Inselme Pierre were my grand-parents. I bid them farewell when I migrated to the U.S. in 1994. They raised myself & 2 of my other siblings for 7 years. It was tough discipline and today we are greatful to them for it. Kompe & Sr Da, as you are resting in peace, know that your labor was not in vain. During your later years, you took the 3 of us & your poured in love that will last a lifetime. I never got to tell you nor show you how much I appreciated you. I have no doubt you are enjoying heaven along with the extra rewards that you did not receive here on earth. You raised me to love, honor, & respect everyone. I want you to know that I have found a man who surpasses those qualities. You would have been proud to hand me over to him. Enjoy heaven & rest in eternal peace. Love you.

Sauveur Simon

His name was Sauveur Simon, and he was officially my father in law for 3 weeks. He passed away from a massive heart attack on January 1, 1997. The news of his passing shocked the families and the entire community. During my 4 years of dating Jackson, he went out of his way to always make me feel welcome. He would often refer to me as Hilary Clinton. He would say “My son looks like a president when he is with you”. I won’t ever forget how hard he worked the day of our wedding. We never really got to say thank you. Dad, as you are resting in peace you will be proud to know that I am marrying your son all over again. You would have been so proud of him.
Alphonse Simon

Alphonse is Jackson's uncle and a father figure for the Simon family. He is one of the hardest working person I have ever met. Feedback from his clients of construction design: Simply fabulous. We vividly remember a church project that he helped Jackson finished. He took center stage in making sure that the work was completed on time. He knew how important this project was to him. He said "Now that your father is gone, I am now stepping in in his absence to help you". He kept his word and he completed the project. We all call him "Tonton Thom" - He's been there for us in more ways that I can ever imagined. We couldn't celebrate this day without him. We are proud for him to walk our dear sister down the aisle.

Fr Fernand is married to a beautiful lady inside out, Yvette Joseph. He is the father of 2 beautiful daughters and a handsome son. We couldn't be more proud to have him as the best man to start of the 25th year of our marriage. His family has adopted our family years ago. They are one of the many reasons why we chose to stay in Atlanta. We won't ever be able to repay them for their love & kindness. May the Lord bless you god-father with health and strength.
