If you received a plus one, it was noted on your invitation and a guest will appear under your name when you rsvp. Due to limited capacity, we need to stick to our guest list. Thank you for your understanding!
We adore your little ones, but to keep our day intimate, we're inviting only the children of immediate family. Thank you for understanding! Please take this as an excuse to find a sitter and have a date night!
We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. We have hired some amazing photographers to capture the moment for us. We will be more than happy to share the photos with you all when we get them back. When the ceremony is over, feel free to pull out your cameras and phones and take as many pictures as you please (without getting in our photographers' way) the rest of the night. We just ask that you share them with us as well! The bride also requests that you do not post pictures of the bride or groom on social media before they have had the chance to do so themselves.
We would love to see our friends and family dressed up to celebrate with us! But we understand we are having a wedding in Wisconsin at the end of August, and we want our guests to be comfortable too. We ask that you dress up to your comfort level. Please take note that the ceremony is in an old church and the reception is in an older barn, both without ac. The church is big enough to where it shouldn't get hot and there are fans in the barn to keep guests cool. But we do ask that everybody wears their dancing shoes! We ask that the ladies avoid wearing white tones reserved for the bride, champagne/gold, mauve colors, and black dresses.
TBD
There is plenty of parking space at the reception venue. If you choose to leave your vehicle there overnight (which we recommend you do, we will NOT stand for drinking and driving), it must be picked up by 10am the following day.
We will have a partial open bar. Some drinks will be free of charge and some will need to be paid for with cash. There is an ATM on site. Alcohol service will end by 11pm. Even if you plan to drink for free, TIP your bartenders!! There will be licensed bartenders on site who have the right to check IDs. They also have the right to stop serving an individual if they see fit. Must be 21+ to drink and must drink responsibly!
If you have any other questions, please reach out to Suzi or Derek. If it is getting close to wedding day, they may be busy! If they are not quick to respond, feel free to reach out to parents of the couple or a member of the wedding party.
All guests must be off the premises by 12am (midnight). Smoking is only permitted outside in designated smoking areas where cigarette butt cans are located. Guests are not allowed on the east side of the barn, behind the bar, inside the bottom level of the barn, inside of the Airbnb, in the flower field north of the barn, any space fenced off with barbed wire, including where the cattle are, and in any of the sheds or fields with crops. If guests are found in these areas, Prairie Creek Farm’s staff will escort them from that space and have the right to ask them to leave, without notifying the bride or groom. All alcohol must be purchased through Prairie Creek Farm. No alcohol carry-in are allowed. Alcohol consumption is not allowed in the parking lot. If any guest(s) are found breaking Prairie Creek Farm's rules or disobeying their property, their staff has the right to ask that guest to leave without notice.
