How We Met

It all started when Jason decided to visit his brother Justin in Los Angeles California in April of 2017. Little did he know that this short trip to the City of Angels would change his life forever. One thing on the agenda while visiting his brother, was to meet up with their longtime family friend Jordan who was traveling to California with his beautiful lady friend, Jeannell accompanied by Olivia who just so happens to be Suzelene’s cousins. At the time Suzelene had been living in L.A for 1 year. Prior to their arrival Jeannell and Olivia contacted Suzelene and asked her to meet them for dinner at Hae Jang Chong Korean BBQ Restaurant in Koreatown, Los Angeles at 8pm. Eager to join them, Suzelene knew that she’d be cutting it short, because of a 6am flight the following morning to begin a relaxing lavish trip to Mexico with her good friend Sherese. Nonetheless, with her bags barley packed, at the last minute Suzelene decided to head out and join her cousins for dinner. When Suzelene arrived at the restaurant and found her cousins along with their friend Jordan, she was surprised that they were still waiting on two more people, Jason and Justin. Jason and Suzelene ended up sitting across from each other at dinner, with the perfect eye contact, both not knowing that they were looking into the eyes of their lifelong best friend, lover, partner. On a curbside of a busy Los Angeles street, in the midst of the hustle and bustle, knowing she only had just 3 hours to get home, pack, and leave for the Mexico, Jason found the courage to ask Suzelene for her number before leaving. The rest is history! We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
