FAQs

Question

Do you have a gift registry ? Can we bring a gift ?

Answer

Thank you so much for your generosity, we prefer that you bring no gifts. We feel honored that you have travelled so far to share our special day. We're just excited to celebrate with the people that we love the most.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00 pm. Plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes prior.

Question

What is the dress code ?

Answer

We’re inviting guests to dress tropical chic / dressy casual—think relaxed elegance with a beach-ready feel. Lightweight fabrics, breezy dresses, linen or cotton shirts, dressy sandals, wedges, loafers, or nice flats are all perfect. 🌴 We kindly ask guests to skip very casual items like flip-flops, athletic wear, or beach cover-ups. Our goal is comfortable, polished, and celebration-ready.

Question

What is the weather like in late March ?

Answer

🌴 Temperature • Daytime highs are warm — usually around 27–30 °C (80–86 °F). Nights stay comfortably warm, often in the 22–25 °C (72–77 °F) range. ☀️ Sunshine & Conditions • March falls in St. Lucia’s dry season (the island’s high season), so you’ll see plenty of sunny, mostly clear days, often tempered by cooling trade winds. 🌦 Rainfall & Humidity • Rainfall in March is relatively low compared with the rest of the year — it’s one of the driest months. Short showers are possible but usually brief. • Humidity tends to be moderate for the Caribbean, thanks to the dry season trade winds. 🌊 Sea Temperature • Ocean water stays warm and inviting — typically around 26–27 °C (79–81 °F) — ideal for swimming and snorkeling. In summary: March in St. Lucia is warm, mostly dry, and pleasantly sunny — ideal for beach wear, outdoor events, and celebrations. Perfect for a tropical chic wedding vibe! 🌺 🌞

Question

Is it ok to take photos during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, as we have hired a professional photographer. However, feel free to capture memories anytime before or after the ceremony.

Question

Are there any activities or excursions planned for guests before or after the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have organized a sunset catamaran cruise on Friday March 27th from 4:00pm to 6:30pm (returns just after sunset). We would love for you to be our guest. Included are finger foods and beverages (bottled water, sodas, rum punch, local beer and sparkling wine). As we will need to give a head count to the charter company, please reach out to Will or Suzanne to be added to the guest list by Friday March 13th. https://mysticmantours.com

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will be held at an outdoor garden while the reception will be hosted at the event center, which is an indoor/outdoor space. There are paved pathways leading to the garden, but guests will step on grass to reach their seats.
