FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive between 3:30 to 3:45pm to allow time for parking, mingling, and taking your seat. We ask that guests be seated by 3:45pm. If you arrive late, someone will be at the ceremony available to let you know if you can still take your seat or if you will need to wait until the ceremony is over. Even if you miss the ceremony, you will still be welcome to join us to celebrate at the reception! Thank you for your understanding.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1. You have the option to RSVP by mail (a RSVP card and self-addressed/stamped envelope are included with your invitation) or via the RSVP page on this website.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear cocktail attire. We also ask that guests avoid traditional wedding colors such as white, ivory, and cream.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There are two parking lots for the ceremony venue and plenty of street parking for the reception venue. However, we highly recommend carpooling to ensure there is enough space for everyone, to keep parking low stress, and to ensure everyone can enjoy the party responsibly!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know ASAP so we can work with the restaurant to accommodate. The restaurant is upscale Mexican food. The menu for the night will be appetizers such as chips and salsa and queso, and a main course of family style fajitas (beef, chicken, and shrimp will all be provided, no need to select a type).

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

While the weather can be hard to predict, it should be fairly comfortable weather in early September. Keep in mind we will be in a mountain town at higher elevation, so it does stay cooler there. Typically in early September, CB temps are a high in the 60’s during the day and a low in the 30’s at night. The sun is stronger here, so it typically keeps things feeling warmer. We will only be outside for the reception, but you may still want to bring a jacket for the evening going to/from your car.
