Question

What airline do we fly into?

Answer

Puerto Vallarta (PVR)

Question

How far is Sayulita from the airport?

Answer

Sayulita is 35 miles north of Puerto Vallarta.

Question

Do I need pesos or can I pay in USD or credit card?

Answer

We highly recommend you have pesos. Pesos are the currency that is accepted. Some places do take credit cards but not all. Did you know the best way to get pesos is from your local US bank? All banks carry pesos or can get them within two business days. Of course you can always take pesos out of the ATM. ALWAYS, avoid the ATM at the airport.

Question

How do I get to/from Puerto Vallarta airport to Sayulita?

Answer

We recommend pre-booking transport to/from the airport through Versa Premium Destination Management Company. Our wedding planner Andrea will collect your flight info, and group you into rides with other wedding guests arriving/departing at the same or similar times. Benefits of this service include: cost-savings when able to share with a group; safe/secure pickup with trusted drivers that know Sayulita; a grocery stop at the supermarket; and a higher likelihood of recovering items accidentally left behind in vehicles (vs. with a general taxi service). Your ride will be in an air-conditioned Suburban, which can accommodate up to 7 passengers with luggage.

Question

Can I take alternative transportation instead of coordinating with our wedding planner?

Answer

Yes! Taxis are available at the airport rides are approximately $60 cash only. Rental cars are available

Question

What should I expect when arriving in Sayulita?

Answer

Sayulita is a small Mexican town that remains untouched by corporate hotels. This means you’ll see more locals than Americans, walk on cobblestone roads (leave your heels at home) and feel very safe.

Question

Is the water safe to drink?

Answer

The water from the faucet is not safe to drink. Most restaurants serve filtered water and of course you can buy bottled water everywhere.

Question

Is there shopping in Sayulita?

Answer

Yes, there’s great shopping in Sayulita included local art. Many artists have boutique stores and shopping locally means you’re giving back to the community.

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

We want you to treat our wedding like you would a typical beach vacation with one night you’ll get dressed up for. Lots of sunscreen! Ladies- sundresses, shorts, tank tops, bathing suits, flip flops, and sandals. Men- shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, linen, collared shirt, short sleeve shirts, flip flops and sandals. The wedding attire is beach dressy. Ceremony will be on the sand, reception on grass.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome for the weekend and will love Sayulita. The wedding celebration is an adults only party and we will have information for babysitting available for you to book.

Question

Where can I find a babysitter?

Answer

Email our wedding coordinator Andrea with the dates, times, location and number of children for sitting. Andrea@sayulitadreamswedding.com

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Bringing a date is a wonderful way to share your experience at our most special day. Due to limited capacity at the venue our guest list is quite tight. If your invitation doesn’t note a guest and you’d like to bring a guest, reach out to Suzanne directly.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do and please check under the travel tab on this website. We look forward to many of our guests staying at the host hotel. If you want to find other accommodations, checkout Airbnb or VRBO for options.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are providing transportation to and from the wedding. We will have convenient pick up locations that will be central for everyone. Transportation will be onsite the entire night if you want to leave the wedding before the first departure time.

Question
