Our story began Valentine's Day - a coincidence that now feels like destiny. We met at Las Palmas, and from the moment we saw each other, it felt like love at first sight. Conversation flowed effortlessly, and there was an immediate comfort, like we had known each other far longer than a single evening. As the night went on, neither of us wanted it to end. At one point, Taylor looked at me and asked if we wanted to continue our date tonight somewhere else. Of course we did - and we stayed together until the night was over. From that day forward, we've been together ever since.
Behind-the-scenes detail: Taylor had a running tradition of texting his sister updates during his dates. Normally, his messages were short and unimpressed. But that night, his sister immediately noticed something different - excitement, hope, and a feeling he hadn't expressed before. She knew instantly that this date was special.
That unexpected Valentine's Day was the beginning of our forever.
