See the state capitol of California. Complete with tours and a beautiful Rose Garden behind. Sutter's Fort State Historic Park
Sutter's Fort was a 19th-century agricultural and trade colony in the Mexican Alta California province. Established in 1839, the site of the fort was originally part of a utopian colonial project called New Helvetia by its builder John Sutter, though construction of the fort proper would not begin until 1841.
Old Sugar Mill-Home to 13 Wine Tasting Venues
Built in 1934 as a beet-sugar refinery, this complex now features 13 wineries & picnic grounds.
