FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via our wedding website no later than August 21, 2027.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

You can find attire details on our Event Details page. For all events, please refrain from wearing white.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to capacity limitations at the venue, we can only accommodate those guests that are formally invited on your invitation. If you receive a plus one, your guest will be listed on your envelope.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a night out!

Question

Can you recommend a babysitter?

Answer

If you’re traveling with children, The Educated Babysitter (theeducatedbabysitter.org) provides experienced sitters who can come to your hotel room. Please book directly with them as early as possible.

Question

Where will the reception be?

Answer

The reception will follow at the Tidewater Inn.

Question

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes! Details are on our Event Details page.

Question

How should I get to and from the Tidewater Inn?

Answer

The easiest way to enjoy the whole evening is to stay with us at the Tidewater Inn, where we have a room block available. Rideshare options can be limited on the Eastern Shore, especially late at night, so if you’re staying elsewhere we recommend arranging your ride in advance. We’ll share more transportation details closer to the wedding.

Question

I have a dietary restriction. How do I let you know?

Answer

Please note any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Question

What Jewish traditions will be part of the celebration?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place under a chuppah, a canopy that represents the home the couple will build together. Before the ceremony, the couple will sign the ketubah, a Jewish marriage contract. The ceremony ends with the breaking of a glass, and that’s your cue to shout “Mazel tov” for good luck! At the reception, we’ll dance the hora, a joyful circle dance where everyone holds hands and moves to the music. No experience needed, just jump in and follow along. You’ll also see Owen and Suzanne and many in the wedding party lifted up on chairs in the middle of the circle. It’s one of the most fun moments of the night, and we’d love for everyone to join in!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged so everyone can be fully present. Please keep phones and cameras away until the ceremony ends, and feel free to snap away at the reception!

Question
