Suzanna and Jacob first crossed paths as freshmen in college at Saint Louis University. We both lived in the same residence hall, Reinert or otherwise known as the dirty nert. We had known each other from classes and mutual friends, but started to spend more time together sophomore and junior year. Once we each returned from studying abroad in Madrid separate semesters, we got much closer through a summer of Gross Anatomy and having fun in St. Louis. We started dating in November 2019 and since have made it through a global pandemic and living over 300 miles away from each other. After graduation, we moved in together in Chicago to start our adult lives. Suzanna working as a pediatric occupational therapist and Jacob as a physical therapist. We've traveled together to places like Hawaii, Glacier National Park, and Sedona, and one day hope to possibly travel to all the National Parks. In April 2025 we took a trip back to St. Louis, with Suzanna thinking it was just to visit old friends and revisit old memories. However, Jacob was planning much more. We walked through campus in a light rain reminiscing all the fun we had, and Jacob dropped down on a knee and asked Suzanna to marry him. She said yes and we are now looking forward to celebrating our special day with all of our closest family and friends!
