Location

Firstly, check your passports are in date! Le Petit Roulet is located in the Luberon region of Provence between the towns of Avignon (25 min drive), L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (15 min drive) and Cavaillon (10 min drive). Avignon is the largest of the three towns. The picturesque town has a large cathedral and a palace which was the former residence of the Pope. There are several squares with plenty of bars and restaurants. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is filled with coffee shops, bakeries and antiques stores. Cavaillon is a sleepy little town which is located closest to the venue.

The region can be accessed via three airports. Marseille Provence Airport is approximately an hour drive to the venue and surrounding area. Aéroport de Nîmes is a 45 minute drive. Ryanair fly to both Marseille and Nîmes from Dublin. Both the towns of Nîmes and Marseille are linked to Avignon via train. The train to Avignon from either Nîmes or Marseille takes around 40 minutes. Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport is about a 2 hour drive. The train goes directly from Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport to Avignon and takes an hour. Aer Lingus fly to Lyon from Dublin.

Rental Cars

Cars can be rented at each of the three airports. The following major car rental companies are based at the airports: SIXT, Hertz, Budget, Enterprise, Alamo and National, Europcar, Thrifty and Avis.

We’ll have taxi vans at the venue from midnight to 3 a.m. after the wedding, so guests can head home at their leisure. Local taxi companies will also be shared closer to the day, and Uber is available in the area.
