Brant Point Light is located at the tip of, what else, Brant Point. it's a quick and easy walk from town, off of Easton Street just past the White Elephant. You'll pass the Coast Guard station and the 1856 lighthouse on your right just before you reach it.
With ocean overlooks and expansive views of the bluffs and dunes while weaving through the historic Sconset village, this walk is one you should't miss. It is a small dirt path that travels through the flower-filled backyards of many Sconset homes. You can stroll along the bluff to the Sankaty Lighthouse.
Like a good piece of scrimshaw? Or maybe just the general romance of the old-time fishing community that forged the town of Nantucket? The Whaling Museum is just the place for you! Located in the center of town, the museum is a beautiful space dedicated to the rich history of whaling on the island.
