Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a wedding registry as we have all of the items we need already. We are accepting monetary gifts, but they are not necessary. We are just excited to celebrate the day with all of our family/friends! We will be going on our honeymoon to Iceland prior to the wedding in September! We are also donating a portion of the gifts received to the Animal Care Center of Downers Grove. Please see details on our "registry" page for credit card and Venmo options. How far is Chicago from the hotel/venue?

Answer

If you plan on extending your stay, the city is approximately an hour drive away (traffic dependent).

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Every guest will receive a plus one to our wedding.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We have decided to not allow kids at our wedding to be able to have a smaller/more intimate gathering.

Is the event indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both located indoors. There is a small balcony overlooking the riverwalk for guests to enjoy should you choose to, but all events will be located indoors.

How cold will it be in October?

Answer

Chicago weather can be a bit unpredictable, but expect temperatures to be transitioning into Fall weather with days in the mid 60's and nights to come down to the 50's.
