--We are excited to celebrate Adriana & Hans’ wedding day with you this Saturday! REMINDERS/MORE INFO --Getting there: Our experience is that map apps work well for Sanborn Park. On Big Basin Way you will drive through the village of Saratoga and then pass Hakone Gardens (on the left) and Saratoga Springs (on the right), after which you’ll get to a section of construction with a light controlled, one-way, single lane. After the light you’ll take the first left onto Sanborn Road. Drive 1.1 miles and make a right turn into the entrance to Sanborn Park. --To the right of the Sanborn entrance station you’ll check in with Alex to get your parking permit. Just after the parking check in, there is a STOP sign. Make a hard right and drive up into the SEQUOIA PETERSON GROVE lot. Park as far into the lot as you can. Walk further in (passing porta potties on your right) turning right at the park sign and then left at the first paved path. The picnic area / ceremony site will be on your left (about a two minute stroll from the parking lot). OTHER DETAILS --There’s no cell coverage in Sanborn Park. --Public Restrooms are adjacent to the Sequoia Peterson Grove site (in addition to the porta potties near the parking lot). --The weather reports indicate a beautiful day. We will be in mixed sun and shade, so we suggest sunglasses and/or hats for your comfort, and a layer in case it gets cool. --For the wedding ceremony some of the ~75 of us will sit in folding chairs and some at picnic benches. If you need to sit in a chair please let us know as you arrive. --For the barbecue dinner most of us will sit at picnic tables (but there’ll be chairs for those who prefer them). --Come ready to celebrate! Before and after the barbecue there will be games to play and a playlist for listening and dancing. --We look forward to celebrating this joyful event with you! Please reach out to Adriana’s parents Roger or Eileen with any questions or needs. See you soon!
There's plenty! One of us will be stationed at the entrance to Sanborn Park to give you your permit (so don't forget to RSVP).
Let us know as soon as you can. Ideally, by May 1st.

We met through mutual friends while we were both in community college in San José. We started out as friends, but love blossomed, and we began our shared journey together with a love of local adventures--hikes, walks with our dogs Beanie and Dory, picnics, and road trips.
The San Jose Rose Garden, Monterey Bay Aquarium, Santa Cruz beaches and mountains–for dips in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean and the San Lorenzo River (Garden of Eden!). Taco Mania and Bill’s Cafe are two of our favorite places to eat. We are still discovering Austin, but so far we are fans of Lady Bird Lake and BBQ–especially Rudy’s and Cooper’s.
If we are in California or Texas we love outdoor activities--camping, hiking, paddle boarding, volleyball, and a good campfire.
We will continue exploring and growing as a couple as we push each other for greatness and happiness. We are in the process of trying to purchase a home in Austin and we are looking forward to starting a family.
