We met at work on a Superyacht called Sky. We set eyes on each other when the boat was docked in Turkey and I was arriving back from my holiday. We still remember the day we shook hands, and looked into each others eyes. The thoughts in my head (Kelsey) were: " Wow, his grandpa hands match my granny hands! What a good looking chap". The thoughts in his head were: "Red nail polish, nice gold bangle, what a classy girl". I was slightly disappointed to hear he had a girlfriend , and then slightly joyful when they broke up. At one point I distinctly remember thinking, Sam Crouch was the perfect man. Not too far down the line, our travels took us to Israel. Now, in the yachting industry, landing yourself in a strip club after hours is not too uncommon. One particular night, a local convinced our crew we HAD to experience the one and only Pussy Cats Strip Club. And what better way to start a budding romance than in a high class strip club in Tel Aviv!

If Sam knows one thing about me, it is my love of memory collecting. Scrap booking, journal entries, collections of souveniers, you name it! So being the most thoughtful man in the world, he placed a large photo album on the table in front of me while I was having a glass of wine on the balcony of a quaint apartment in Curacao (a small Dutch Island in the Carribean). It contained photos, along with a narrative of our journey together. The excitement within me bubbled over as I read, reread and backtracked a couple of times just because I wanted the moment of each page to last longer (not realizing, the stalling of the finale was really getting the nerves going in Sam). At last, as I turned the final page, I read: "Kelsey Elizabeth Sutton, will you marry me"? I turned to Sam, he was on one knee, and all I could say was YES! I was then presented with the most beautiful ring I had ever seen - designed and created just for me by the man himself.
