Wedding Party

Laura Smith

Matron of Honor

I met Laura in High School, on the field hockey field. We lived close and she would pick me up and drop me off for practices. After the season, we continued to hang out, and realized we had similar values. Over the years, we helped cheer each other on, with her being one of my biggest Penn State Field Hockey fans. I stood by her side, while she married her amazing husband Jeff, and watched her become a Mother for Jordan and Payton. She has listened to me, for over a decade, talk about Greg, and so excited she and her family are spending it with my crazy family!

Alison Quintana

Bridesmaid

I met Alison almost 14 years ago, when my brother started dating her. After one of their first dates, Chris called me and told me how perfect she was. Not only does Alison put up with my brother, but anyone that can put up with the Alloways, is a keeper. She is the mother of three beautiful girls, Vienna, Phoenix and Valencia. And is a master of multi-tasking, while always smiling. Similar to Laura, Alison has listened to me talk about Greg for over a decade, and wouldn't want anyone else by my side.

Emily Sutton

Bridesmaid

On my first date with Greg, he spoke often about his family, especially his younger sister Emily. How independent, intelligent, and adventurous she was. I couldn't wait to meet her. I finally got the chance, meeting her, along with his parents, at a bagel shop in Ballston. She and her awesome husband John, have been living in Vienna, Austria the past couple of years. And Greg and myself are beyond thankful to have her standing by our sides, on our Wedding day!

Natalie Blasco

Bridesmaid

I met Natalie at Penn State my freshmen year, on the field hockey field. Natalie is one of the funniest, most sarcastic, brilliant people I know, and I am so thankful she was my teammate at Penn State. I had recently torn my acl, and had to medical redshirt, and there wasn't a day she didn't listen, or pushed me to be my best version. After she graduated, she continued to cheer me on, not only on the field, but in life. You always remember the friends that were there in the tough times. Which is why, on our special day, when I get to marry my dream man, I want Natalie next to me!

Victoria Araj

Bridesmaid

Victoria has had the pleasure of knowing me her entire life, as I am her younger, annoying cousin. Residing in Detroit Michigan, Victoria is all things Michigan, including a devoted Red Wings fan. She is a queen at trivia, and a master at arts and crafts. Some of my favorite memories are us growing up, playing in our Grandma's house in Lincoln Park. On this day, where the Suttons merge with the Alloways, I couldn't imagine Victoria not being by my side.

Christopher Alloway

Officiant

I am beyond lucky to not only have the best older brother, but also have a role model. Besides knowing Chris my entire life, having memories of amazing vacations, I continue to be in awe of him. Of his intelligence, his ability to listen and give honest feedback, and raising three beautiful children. Greg and I thought he would be the perfect combination of genuine, smart, witty, thoughtful, and overall well spoken officiant east of the Pacific Ocean.

Vienna Alloway

Flower Girl

Four going on 13!! Watch out folks, this funny, giggling girl will be throwing petals out, before I walk down the aisle to marry my prince charming. You'll find her petting every animal, while also dancing on the dance floor. We couldn't get marry without having our oldest Niece, help us out!

Phoenix Alloway

Flower Girl

Phoenix, who is the second niece, while she loves face-timing us, will always ask for Tio Greg! She welcomed her baby sister Valencia with open arms, often waving to her while she sleeps. We couldn't think of a better way, then having Fifi throw some petals down the aisle, for our big day!

Kendall Mahan

Best Man

Kendall and Greg met through mutual friends at Penn State. Then lived together for a year in college before both moving down to the DC area after graduating. In their college days Kendall and Greg would naturally form the power corner in slap cup or casually dominate a "walking" 5k for autism. Now-a-days they take it a bit easier but Kendall is always there to grab an occasional beer.

Benton Mahan

Best Man

Greg first met Ben at Penn State when he mistaken thought he was his twin brother Kendall. Greg and Ben lived together at the infamous Wolf Den House before both moving to Falls Church. Greg also had the pleasure of being the officiant at Ben and his wife Chelsea's wedding.

Christopher Kost

Groomsman

Chris and Greg first met at Little People Day even before elementary school. Although they went to different elementary schools they remained friends before reconnected in junior high school where they attempted to make the basketball team. Fast forward a number of years Greg ended up joining Chris at Penn State and they both studied Hospitality Management.

Michael Beam

Groomsman

Mike and Greg had the pleasure of sharing a bedroom at Penn State for a year before moving down to the DC area after graduation. They both upgraded their living situation to separate bedrooms when they moved into the Wolf Den for two years. Greg has been lucky to have Mike as a fellow Philly fan in a group of Pittsburgh and DC sports fans.

Kevan Williams

Groomsman

Kevan and Greg became friends through youth soccer. Despite neither of them being very good at it their friendship expanded into other interest such as cycling on Team Mad Cows in the MS 150; attempting to surf down at the Jersey Shore; and checking out cars much cooler than theirs.
