Ojai is a small town, with a lot to explore right on the main drag. We've listed a few specific spots below, but we'd recommend biking or walking into town, and just exploring the shops, restaurants, and tasting rooms. Have fun exploring!
We love the Ojai Valley Bike Trail! This trail goes from Ojai to Ventura, but its also a beautiful trail to take from one end of Ojai to the other, stopping for food or drinks on the way! It starts right near the venue and hotels, and parallels Ojai Avenue. You can easily bike into town on the trail to avoid cars and get a more scenic ride. Many hotels have bikes you can rent for free, and there are also a few bike rental shops throughout Ojai.
There are lots of great hiking trails in and around Ojai. Shelf Road Trail is a nice, easy to moderate hike with beautiful views of the valley. For a more extreme adventure, try Gridley Trail. Both are listed in the article here, along with 10 other great suggestions.
Libbey Park is smack dab in the middle of downtown Ojai. It has a great walking path, can be reached from Ojai Ave or the bike path, has free public tennis courts, picnic tables, and a playground. A great place to bring a picnic lunch!
For all you golfers out there, if you want a sneak peak of our venue, play a round of golf at Soule Park Golf Course!
We love this place. It has delicious and unique dishes, and a fun outdoor patio to eat. You might see a line out the door, into the parking lot. It's worth it!
Another delicious breakfast or lunch spot - this one's a little further out of town, but not too far, and worth the drive. This farm-to-table restaurant and market is quirky and delicious.
No specific location for this, but right as the sun is setting, the mountains to the north glow pink. Don't forget to look up and enjoy this phenomenon that is unique to Ojai, California!
