What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is cocktail attire. Wear whatever color you'd like, but do not wear colors typically reserved for the bride (white, cream, ivory, etc.) and no shorts or jeans, please!

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you received a plus one, this will appear under your name when you RSVP. Due to limited space, we have only reserved seats for the names listed in each group.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids! Anyone listed under your name when you RSVP is also welcome to join. Having said that, this is not a child-focused event, and if you'd like the night off, please contact the couple about childcare options.

Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both events will be located at the Kinlock-Stanback Residence in Avon, CT – no transportation required! We will be outside for the ceremony and cocktail hour before heading into the tent for the reception.

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

If you are staying in one of the hotel blocks (Avon Old Farms Hotel or Residence Inn by Marriott), there will be a school bus shuttle running to and from the venue at the following times: 4:15 PM Pick up at Residence Inn by Marriott 4:20 PM Pick up at Avon Old Farms Hotel 4:25 PM Drop off at the venue 4:35 PM Pick up at Residence Inn by Marriott 4:45 PM Pick up at Avon Old Farms Hotel 4:50 PM Drop off at the venue (Last trip before the ceremony!) 5:00 PM Pick up at Residence Inn by Marriott 5:10 PM Pick up at Avon Old Farms Hotel 5:15 PM Drop off at the venue

How do I get back to my hotel?

Answer

The shuttle will be running between the venue and hotels starting at 9:00 PM. The last trip will leave the venue at 11:15 PM. Please note that there may be limited Uber/Lyft options in Avon late at night, so please plan ahead and use the provided shuttles!
