Asheville Regional Airport

We recommend flying into Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) with daily direct flights from New York, Florida, and Texas serviced by Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, jetBlue, and United. Highlands, NC is an ~80-minute drive from AVL. Additional airport options include Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP), which is a ~2-hour drive to Highlands, and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), which is a ~2.5-hour drive to Highlands. Atlanta is the closest large airport hub to Highlands.

AVL Airport Shuttle Transfer

For those that prefer not to rent a car or hire a private driver, we are offering a shuttle service between AVL airport and Highlands. We recommend that you rent a car if possible. The on-site providers at AVL airport include AVIS, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, etc. Please note that in Highlands, there is no service from Uber/Lyft; however, we have arranged for transportation within Highlands from all recommended hotels to wedding events.

Old Edwards Inn Property Map

The Old Edwards Inn & Spa property includes the Falls Cottages, The Lodge, and the Historic Inn. 200 Main is also part of the Old Edwards hotel group and across the street from Trailborn Highlands.
