Things To Do

If you are staying in Baltimore, or plan to spend Saturday/Sunday there, here are some of our local favorites:

BMORE LICKS

2437 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224

Tons of flavors of soft serve and hard packed ice cream! You can get shakes, sundaes, you name it. There is something for everybody here! And, we came here on many of our first dates.

Baltimore Museum of Art

10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218

A free museum with lots to see. Some of Caroline's favorites are the Matisse and Van Gogh. There are also some incredible ancient mosaics.

Gettysburg Battlefield Historic District

Gettysburg Battlefield, PA 17325

Ask Caroline's Dad for background on this important battle site. He wrote his undergraduate thesis on it!

National Aquarium

501 East Pratt Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

The aquarium is a Baltimore landmark. There's a lot to see-- you will want to plan to spend several hours if possible!

Taqueria El Sabor del Parque

2901 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224

This hole-in-the-wall taco shop is delicious. We went here on our first date. If you are looking for something fancy or "instagramable" this might not be for you. It is definitely delicious, though. And you can take your tacos across the street to enjoy our beloved Patterson park.

The Observatory at Patterson Park

East Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21224

We love living one block from the park. The pagoda is the best spot for views!

Limoncello Baltimore

900 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

We ate here the night we got engaged! They have a phenomenal menu; everything is fresh and local and delicious. Excellent for pasta and seafood lovers. FYI You will probably need a reservation.

For all the days along the way
