Ken's is some of the best pizza in the world (we're not kidding). After Turner proposed, we went here to celebrate our engagement with friends! You’ll want to get in line a few minutes before opening to guarantee immediate seating.

Salt & Straw has multiple locations around the city. It's incredible ice cream, and you could sample every flavor if you wanted to!
The Heist Bar & Food Carts
Food Carts are a Portland staple. The Heist is Susie's favorite pod for all things Asian food, but there are carts here for any palette!

Silver Falls State Park
If you're up for a longer hike, the Trail of Ten Falls at Silver Falls State Park has ten waterfalls in about 7.5 miles! The hike is moderate in difficulty, but well worth it. You get to walk behind a couple of them!
Cannon Beach
If you have the time, we recommend a coast trip. You can eat great seafood, explore tide pools at Haystack Rock, (check the tide charts!), and explore a cute little town at this spot. Check out Ecola State Park (viewpoint and Indian Beach) where they filmed scenes from Twilight, The Goonies, and Point Break!
