Victor and Susie met online back in May 2022. Victor thought the first date went well. He thought Susie looked very pretty and that she was very easy to talk to. So he invited her to a small gathering that he was having with friends. What he didn’t realize is that she already knew half the room! As they would find out, they have a lot of friends in common. They began going on several dates. Things that Victor would come to learn about Susie include the following. She loves dancing and baseball. She really enjoys getting people together and getting together with people. She especially likes planning parties. She gets excited over a clean kitchen. She delights in cooking. She loves running.  Similarly, Susie would come to learn many things about Victor. He loves spending time with friends, especially over a beer or a meal. He really cares about and enjoys discussing ideas. He very much likes reading. He, too, is a runner. Moreover, both Victor and Susie work in different non-profits–and are each very passionate about that. So, it wasn’t hard at all for them to bond over many things! Needless to say, they both deeply wanted to find someone with whom they could share deep friendship and the project of starting a family. They most especially wanted to find someone with whom they could share and grow in their Catholic faith. And that all is exactly what they found.  Victor asked Susie to marry him on December 31, 2022. They’re both so full of peace and joy and are so grateful for all the friends and family who have supported and who continue to support them!
