Madison is an amazing town (obviously, since we're getting married here) and there is tons to do! Whether you're a foodie or looking for some culture, the city has plenty to offer! Here are a few of our favorite things to do in the area. And with the extra long weekend, hopefully you're able to enjoy a few while you're here!

Check out one of the best farmers' markets in the country and don't forget to try a loaf of the spicy cheesy bread from Stella's Bakery on the corner! You can also get a free tour of the Capitol Building while you're there.

Take a stroll down State Street and visit some of the local shops and restaurants along the way. We recommend a brat & a beer at State Street Brats!

Held since 1983, the Taste is Madison Festivals flagship event, with over 80 restaurants, 3 entertainment stages, 27 beverage stands, and THIS YEAR Lambeau Field Live drawing over 250,000 to the Capitol Square over Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. There is no charge for admission or entertainment. SATURDAY, AUGUST 31 - 2PM-8:30PM SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 - 11AM-7PM
