OUR STORY Six years of dating. Engaged in year seven. Saying “I do” in year eight. (We like a good build-up.) Like all great modern love stories, ours began on Tinder. Yes — it works. S & T matched, with T proudly being S’s very first swipe. S, however, was… not T’s first swipe. But as fate would have it, she turned out to be the only one that mattered. At the time, S wasn’t exactly looking for love — her calendar was fully booked with parties. T, intrigued and undeterred, embarked on what can only be described as a four-month pursuit while S remained effortlessly nonchalant. Persistence prevailed. S caved. After all, you always want what you can’t have. Six months later, they took their first trip together. Romantic in theory — until S invited her best friend Derek and his girlfriend to join. A bold move. An unforgettable one. New Year’s Eve 2018 brought T’s friends from Germany to Singapore and onward to Phuket. S was introduced to the German way of life: precision, order… and the complete disappearance of both after several drinks. 2019 was all about travel, adventure, and love taking shape. T met S’s friends and won them over effortlessly with das charisma. They explored the world, danced through the nights, and fell deeper for each other along the way. 2020 arrived with COVID — the ultimate relationship stress test. Locked down together, they discovered that pressure wasn’t their style. Instead, they built the second-largest LEGO set in the world (the Taj Mahal), celebrated T’s birthday with a Michelin-star meal delivered to their apartment, and even embarked on a cruise to nowhere — three days at sea, only to return exactly where they started. Christmas 2021 took them to Germany, where S fell in love with T’s warm, lively, and wonderfully loud family. There was snow. There was magic. There were memories to last a lifetime. 2022–2023 were filled with frequent travels, a major home renovation, and exceptional food. T loves to eat. S loves to feed. Balance, perfected. Mama T also joined them in Koh Samui, where T insisted on a family Muay Thai fight outing. A true bonding experience. Bless Mama T. 2024 began — quite literally — with a hangover and a puppy. On January 1st, S & T welcomed KIRIN, named after too many trips to Japan and their shared love for Kirin beer. Kirin now reigns supreme over their home. New Year’s Eve 2024 marked another milestone. On Sentosa Island, T proposed in his signature swanky fashion — complete with that custom-designed rock, Kirin as their official witness, and a dreamy stay at Sofitel. S said YES. And now, with sandy toes and full hearts, they’re planning their beach wedding — and would love nothing more than to celebrate their love story with you.
