The running company he worked for got bought out and merged with the running company she worked for. She took his picture on his first day for an ad and they couldn't deny the immediate chemistry. They went for a run together on Milwaukee's Lake Michigan shoreline and the cold January air burned his out-of-shape lungs so badly he had to walk most of the way while she clipped on ahead. But she turned around and came back for him after she hit her miles and that was enough for both of them to think that maybe they could do this forever.
On one of Wisconsins coldest days in winter history, deemed as the polar vortex of 2022, he was still able to warm her heart and make her melt into his arms. Jonah's persistence of going for a walk in the dead of winter should have been enough to raise suspicions however, Susie was blissfully unaware of the well planned out day ahead. We embarked on our cold yet familiar stroll down to the lighthouse, often frequented in warmer summer months, enjoying the views of crashing waves along Milwaukee's city skyline. Our first run and date was along this lakeshore trail. Soon as we approached the towering red lighthouse we were surprised to see a friend, photographing the steamy lake. Taken aback by why Finn would pick this, out of all days, to take photos of the breakwater, we were excited to share a laugh with a friend. Our photographer pal generously offered to snap a few shots of us, since he just so happened to be down here... and you can see the results for yourself!
