Key West International Airport (EYW) The most convenient way to get to Key West is to fly directly into the Key West Airport. Once you arrive, it's a short 10 minute cab ride anywhere downtown. There are direct options from the major NY area airports as well as connections through many Eastern hubs. Miami International Airport (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) Miami and Ft Lauderdale are both great options for anyone who wants more flexibility in terms of flight schedules and a bit of adventure. It's about a 3 hour (MIA) or 3.5 hour (FLL) drive to Key West. If you've never experienced it, the long stretches of the Overseas Highway over bright blue water make this drive beautiful and memorable. There are rental car options on the island to drop off the car if you'd prefer to do a one way trip!

If you're coming from Florida (or prefer flying into Fort Meyers), another option is the Key West Express Ferry! Departing from Fort Myers, this cruising catamaran will have you in Key West in about 3.5 hours. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride with an on-deck bar, food, TV's, and plenty of scenic views.
