Dear Friends and Family, We wanted to check in given the changing climate due to the coronavirus outbreak. Our wedding is going forward as planned and we’re excited to spend time with all of you. If you are no longer able or feel uncomfortable traveling or attending, we understand. Please let us know as soon as possible—no later than September 25th—so we can update our relevant vendors. We will update you if the circumstances change (we do not anticipate them to) and are looking forward to celebrating together. Love, Susie and Dylan
Dylan and I officially met on the 4th of July in 2016. His mom noticed me sitting with friends during the 4th of July celebration that year, and helped orchestrate for him to come by that night. He pulled up a chair beside me and we talked the whole night. I remember having butterflies. From then on, we have been a part of each other’s lives. We felt something special from the very beginning.
Dylan proposed on October 18th, 2020. We went for a bike ride - one of our favorite pastimes - for Dylan’s birthday weekend celebration. As I rode down the trail, I noticed a table set in the middle of the path. As we biked closer, I saw pictures of us and a note on the table. I read the sweet note and Dylan got down on one knee. I said “Of course!” when he asked me to marry him. It was such a happy moment I will remember forever.
