We have seen many highs and lows throughout our relationship, but we have always known that we would find our way back to one another. It all started in our freshman year Psych class at Southeastern University. Casey saw me sitting in the second row, leaned over to CJ Young, and whispered to him that he thought I was cute. It wasn't until the next year when our group of friends went out to pizza, and Casey told another friend that he was going to date me one day. I was always skeptical, but Casey's confidence and charm won me over. We spent those next two years traveling together, leading missions trips, earning a social work degree together, and enjoying many fun moments. We came to a point in our relationship, that we were not seeing eye to eye and that eventually led to a breakup. We both agree that this was one of the hardest things that we have ever walked through. Thankful for friends, family, and prayer, our hearts began to heal. After graduating with our master's degrees, starting our careers, and enjoying the single life, we eventually found our way back to each other. Looking back, it was definitely not easy, and I wasn't sure why we had to go through it at the time. But it is our love story, and I wouldn't change it for the world. It was always meant to be.
