Sushil and Jessica met at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where they both met through their school's Filipino organization, Bayanihan. They knew each other since Sush's first year of college, but they never really talked until the next school year when Sush joined Bayanihan's annual fashion show. While Jess was going through some challenges during her senior year of college, Sush was there to listen to her struggles and brought so much laughter and positivity to her life. In November of 2016, Sush asked Jess to watch Moana in theaters after her final exams. To his surprise, Jess didn't know it was a date. After Jess realized that Sush was hoping for more, they decided to take things slow until they made things official on March 19, 2017. Ever since, their lives have been filled with endless carpool karaoke sessions, silly jokes, exciting travel, foodie adventures, and more. They are now excited to celebrate with all of you as they journey towards a lifetime together.
